The Renaissance Woman

 What do you think of when you hear the term "renaissance woman"? Old-fashoned, ancient, historic, stuck in another time. However, these have little to do with the meaning. There is another term, the renaissance man, that many of us have heard before. He is wise in various subjects; a writer, mathmatician, philosopher, and artist. He is a man of many trades ranging from aritecture to politics. Now we put this term into the female perspective. The translation is a woman who is knowledgable about different topics and subjects normally not combined in the average female.  

How to become knowledgeable? Study all you can. Learn from your different interests. What have you never learned about? What are your interests?

Pick a few subjects and research the topics. For example, I have psychology, sewing, interior design, books, traveling, and random facts. Yes, these are hobbies. But a renaissance woman has many different hobbies. She understands concepts and grasps new viewpoints. The world might be unknown, however it won't be for long. She attempts to learn what is unknown.

Not one subject will do. Broaden your mind in the differences of the world. Read books on any subject that catches your interest. However to be a renaissance woman does not just depend on knowledge, she must be a leader as well.

 Leaders understand those under them. They do not use followers, instead they help followers understand themselves so they can help the group. Each person is exactly that, a person, a part of the puzzle. Each piece is important and valuable. Followers come together to create a pack.

As a leader you must understand the values of each person. What are their best qualities? How can they aid the cause? You must be good at conversing with people. Problems they face are your own. You are here for them, to aid your friends and followers. A leader watches over the pack with a kind heart and a good spirit.
